Skeleton Brute update
okay these are all the new additions that i have made to the character there is still a ways to go before texturing and retopologizing this guy, want to have him animated too so lots of fun to go just not much spare time =/
next up is clothing and details :D
so I woke up saturday morning and just wanted to make a big skeleton brute in zbrush and this is what happened.
lots of subtools, dynamesh and zSpheres later and i have a skeletons torso.
I’ve yet to add a few things namely the jaw, collar and shoulder bones but its getting there.
there will be more next week :)
So I’ve been working on some dark souls art because damn i love that game, so difficult yet so satisfying when you finally win. anyway lemme explain whats going on here from bottom working our way up :)
first i threw some colour over the canvas just the usual green of dark souls and a touch of blue, sketched in some figures of a black night killing the player in elite knight armour. I chose a death scene because its is the single most important event in the game since its what the whole experience it built around.
next up, I wasnt happy with how the knight was so i did some research and re-sketched him, i also added in some background elements while thinking how to keep the viewers eye coming back to the knight, this was done by having everything pointing at the knight and hopefully it will work like im planning it to.
I then added some colour to the characters to light them off the background sketch a bit and adjusted some of the lines.
finally, I’ve added some details and adjusted the lighting a tad to give a little gloomier feel to the scene, it will all be brightened up later with some souls and sky lighting.
